It will be a while before I can get to it. You can back off to the stable version 27.0.62 in the meantime.

Are you referring to 27.0.62 for Silicon/Intel? Is there a link available for this version?
(I found the link, it was further back in the history than I expected).

LilyAarseth:
Might be a very rare obscure crash, but I can consistently crash MC27 instantly when toggling on or off "reduce transparency" on an M1 Mac Mini

curiousMonkey:
DSP settings are not consistent. I am not seeing multichannel audio output via HDMI from FLAC music files.

Set channels to 5.1 and close settings.
Play stereo track and open DSP settings.
See channels are now displayed as 2 instead of 5.1.

Source is 48KHz/24-bit 2ch.  Internal 48KHz/24-bit 2 ch

Set channels back to 5.1 and close settings.
Open settings and confirm channels are still 5.1.
Play 5.1 24/96 track from DVD-A.
Noticed that multi-channel input option is not available from Marantz preamp.
Open DSP settings while music is still playing.
Channels is set to 2
Source is 96/24/6ch.  Internal 48/64/2ch.

Repeated experiment on Windows MC 27.0.66 and tracks play correctly.

Disable the MC setting (under Audio->Advanced) that Configures the output device on playback failure.
You then get a failure dialog for every setting that isn't supported by the hardware.

Dear moderator, my media center 27 is used on a macbook pro 16-inch. If the speaker is not connected to the earphone, the computer screen will flicker. If the earphone is connected, the screen does not flicker. I don’t know what caused it.
