Block library server tagging on client devices
« on: February 23, 2021, 08:40:51 am »

Having managed to set up a library server and enable DLNA I now want to explore why I did this. I would like others in my family to have access to the music on the library server both internally and externally mainly on Android devices.
Now I know all I need give them is the internal and external server IP address and port number, the access key and the username and password and they're off. However what I do not want them doing is altering my file tags, ratings, names, locations etc. and library or server settings and my playlists but I would like the little darlings to have and control their own playlists.
Is this even feasible and if so your valued assistance to set this up would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
