PurePro headphones WASAPI drivers

Just bought some PuroPro (bluetooth) headphones. They work...sort of... when running as W10 default audio device. Quality is 16K Hz and swirly. They actually sound better with other apps, such as Windows Media Player or VLC media player. Trying to configure WASAPI drivers... Can't get them to work at all... Anyone have a set or ? Thanks!
