qoobar - Classical Music Tagging software
« on: March 03, 2021, 10:51:07 pm »

Just wondering,
Has anyone been using Qoobar (http://qoobar.sourceforge.net/en/documentation.htm) to tag classical music files?
Have been studying all available solutions and been doing quite a lot of reading before embarking on the "holy grail quest" of tagging my classical music collection.

No - Because it can populate more tags than some other programs I use dbPoweramp to rip my cd's. Of course that meant having to add some additional tags to the MC Database; but the net effect is I spend a lot less time looking for sources of the metadata that is missing or not provided by other cd ripping programs/software.

I had a quick look at qoobar and I got the impression that there was nothing in/it that was any different to using Media Center to do any/all Manual Tagging. Oh I also spotted some Classical Music Tags that were missing - Chorus, Chorus Master, Movement, Movement Number, Movement Count ....
