Help! DSP studio crashing MC

Good morning all,

I have recently purchased MC 27;
Initially no issues with the install,  program running as expected

Shortly thereafter, I am able to see and play all my audio files, but whenever I try to open the DSP studio MC crashes.
Tried the usual things, restart, reinstall without luck.  Not sure that I managed to uninstall everything including preferences as the library was seen immediately on reinstall without having to scan

I would be most grateful for some help.

As an aside,  MC 23 still works fine, no issues with the DSP studio on the same machine
