Hard drive went out,so I lost all my settings on my MC23

Hi:
 My hard drive bit the dust about a week ago ,which caused me to lose basically everything,I managed to re-register,but now my settings are gone.
 When I play a CD, the rewind or back is very slow.This is how everything looks now:
Track Change:
Switch Tracks:Cross-Fade (smooth)-0.5s
Do not play silence(box ticked off)
Use gapless for sequential album tracks(box ticked off)
Use gapless for manual track changes(box ticked off)

Stop,Seek& Skip:
Seek:Gapless
Stop:Fadeout (normal)
Pause: Fade(normal)
Jump behaviour 5 sec Forward,Backword 5 sec
What should these setting be for normal playThanks

Try changing these.  I think the default is 30 seconds forward, 10 seconds back.

A few more questions if I may: When I click on Audio,I get a narrow window at the bottom that comes up (Name,Artist,Album,Rating,etc and I can click on 'Close" at bottom right to get rid of it,but how do I disable that window from coming up all together,if I can?
Also On the "Jump Behaviour"..5 seconds forward,backward 5 seconds...the forward works normally,but the backward(previous),just goes back to zero on whatever track is playing...say track 4 is playing and I want to go back to track 3,I hit the back icon and it goes back to zero on track 4,I want it to go back to track 3?.Thanks,Huck
