managing particles on a client using a remote library
« on: April 24, 2021, 08:28:29 am »

Curious if anyone has tried to create/manage particles on a client.

I did this the other evening - creating particles on a client, and the effect was to delete from the Server library the original file that I created the particles from as well as the particles that were created.  I tried this with three different files, and while initially the particles appeared to be created, ultimately after restarting media server on the client, all the particles + title they were derived from were gone from the server library it was connected to.

If this isn't something supported, perhaps disabling this capability from a client when using a remote library would be a good feature to implement.
