Mp3 (128) to Mp3pro conversion
« on: April 04, 2003, 11:40:19 pm »

Why does the conversion process throw out tag information when converting files that have been processed through Download Manager?
Files that I download through WMP9 keeps all tag info in tact. I use MM converter for both.

You are making some confusion here, MC9, MJ8 and WMP9 don't support Mp3PRO

Probably is using the plug-in developed for winamp 2.
Works fine, but destroy all the tags of the mp3 files.
We are going to wait for the plug-in that thompson is developing for winamp 3 and testi it in MJ.
Its'a a pity such licencing problem as mp3pro is an excellent option.
