JimH:
Try swapping the DAC's.   Try several other files.

I know that because the same file works fine in my another system, which consists of MC27 on Windows and DAC (Pioneer U-05)  that supports not only DSD64 but also DSD128. Therefore on this system is not necessary to perform DSD128 to DSD64 conversion.

Bemchmark DAC 3 though supports only DSD64 DoP and that is where I have a problem.

The file (one song), that I am using for these tests, is 248 MB large. What do you mean to send you a backup of Library ?

In MC, File->Library->Backup Library.
This makes a zipfile of your database and settings (but not media).
It makes it easier to reproduce problems we can't get to happen with our setup and settings.

I tried already with several different files. I do not know how swapping DACs might help ?

I have to add that this DSD conversion worked, some couple of months ago. Unfortunately I do not know which MC version I was using at that time ...
