Hardware acceleration for videos is usually handled by your computer's GPU, which web browsers do use if you have the option enabled. You might check and see if there's any GPU driver updates.

Also you're using Windows 10, right?

Thanks very much for the suggestion, but I updated my GPU drivers (NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2060) before having a go at browser settings.  Yes, I'm using Windows 10.

Purchased upgrade mc 28 from 27 in july was ok. But now when I try to restore it, you are sending me license for my old mc27. >mjr for 28 on pc but is now over 14 days. Gave paypal Ref number and email but says there is nothing there, so i have paid for nothing great work, please help.

You used a different email address for MC28.
