grouping functions - broken
« on: May 10, 2021, 04:38:14 am »

i run a few counting functions like

Code: [Select]
=groupsummaryquery(album;album artist /(auto/);Catalog #,duration,1)
they work fine mostly, but seem to skip albums for reasons i can't understand (about 30% seem affected). when one grouping functions fails an album, they all do.  no amount of refreshing or restarting will cause the functions to count.  i've checked all the fields that are in the function and deleting them doesn't do anything either

my global variables solutions to the same countings work on these albums, so it's something in the grouping function....

any ideas?

Could you send me a library backup along with instructions on how to reproduce?  I'm matt at jriver dot com.

Thanks.
