UAD VST plugin GUI not displaying

Hi,
I'm trying to use UAD plugins on MC27.0.87 on MacOS 11.
The plugins will load and process audio, and I can select presets on the top of the DSP Studio page, but the GUI for the plugins aren't displaying within the DSP Studio window.

I tried loading an IK Multimedia VST plugin and that displays fine.  Anyone else encounter this and come up with a solution?

Just quickly reading through their caveats for Silicon, it's probably not going to work properly yet if you are running in Native mode on a M1.

I'm not running on M1.  I'm running a Mac Mini 2018 I bought in 2020.  Intel i5.
MacOS 11 doesn't automatically mean Apple Silicon.  It runs on Intel, too.

Thanks, I know it runs on Intel as well, I have it on both for testing.
Not sure why the GUI wouldn't display if it's not a silicon issue since as you say others do.
