Date Added Field Has Changed Format?

For the past 6 months I've inputed the Date Added manually using format 05/23/21 and this is how it appears in all screens.  This morning all of a sudden it appears as 05/23/2021,  Using MC26 on Window 10 DT.  I've spent 3 hrs trying to find a setting to format dates but no luck?  Help me if you can! Dates are displayed using the date format specified for the OS. So you likely have Windows itself (or Mac/Linux) showing dates as MM/dd/yyyy instead of MM/dd/yy, and MC is just following suit.

You can change it in the Regional Settings control panel.
