Youtube and Amazon Music in Browser
Gankaku:
Hello again,
I'm trying to use Youtube and Amazon Music in my browser. I get errors when trying to login to both. Youtube, as long as I don't login, I can browse around, but there are errors when trying to login. With Amazon Music there's an error right from the get go and I cannot enter.
I'm using the Chromium selection in JRiver.
JimH:
Try Tools > Options > Services for Youtube.
Both have protected content that isn't playable. That may change with MC28 because we support the Edge browser engine. Maybe.
JimH:
There's also a recent fix for Youtube in MC27.

Gankaku:
Oh thanks I'll try the latter one, and the services option (well Youtube services is On there already, is there something else I should do?). I knew they said there might be a fix for 28; hope that's gonna make things work nicely! I just want to login from JRiver and watch my subscriptions there. I would think I should be able to login and play stuff, whether the content is protected or not. EDIT: Oh and the MC27 fix link takes me to no message. Back to square one!
Awesome Donkey:
Unfortunately you can't log into YouTube, because YouTube blocks embedded web browsers, like the CEF build of Chromium Media Center uses, from logging in. Not sure if it'd apply to MC28 with Edge, but it could unfortunately.
