How do u change the format, compression, default location, etc. for TV shows recorded through Media Scheduler? I found it for regular recording in MC, but whatever changes are made there, does not affect properties for scheduled recording. Also, how do u turn off the preview window for tv shows recorded through MS? Thanks in advance!

The recording profile you select does affect how you record through Media Scheduler, except the location of the file and whether you record in AVI or WMV formats. In Media Scheduler you have to specify a full path of the file, including the file name and extension. The extension must be either AVI or WMV, to dictate which format to record the video to. If use AVI extension, all other properties set in your Recording Profile will take effect (such as Video compressor, resolution, frame rate, audio format).

Finally got it to record correctly. I had tried this trick before, just changing the file extension, but couldn't get it to work. That should definatly be on the list of things to add. Either add the addition in the drop down box for "save as file type..." or be able to affect the options of MS.
