Rebuilding thumbnail seemed to do the trick .thanks so much . One more question if you don’t mind . I have some movies as collections . For example the Star Wars collection.  Right now JRiver displays one of the posters of the movies from the collection . I would like it to be a unique poster . I have created a folder called series in the jriver folder located in app data . But it won’t display . Can u tell me what I am doing wrong or am missing something. Thanks for all your help

tij:
I assume you using Series tag to specify collection for the movies. Then group by Series in the view. Then your collection will show as the fanned stacked posters. And you dont like that.

It all depends on what exactly you want to achieve. If you want collections to show with rest of movies ... i have no idea how to do that.

If you want a separate view that only show collection ... then you create view based on TV Show view but for moview ... then cover art in Series will be used

alex014:
Yes I have it grouped as a series with a fanned stack. I wanted to replace the images of the fanned stack with an alternate poster . I read where u can do that by putting an image in a series folder in the app data folder but it doesn’t seem to work .

tij:
For Series (and Season) cover art to be displayed ... your view should be set as "Categories" and in categories you should put "Series" (and then "Season" if you intend for to use season cover art ... eg Series "Middle Earth" and use Season for "Lord of the Rings" and "Hobbit")

alex014:
Thanks . I was able to customize my view for categories in the standard view . How do I get that to show in theater view. I apologize if these are stupid questions. I read the wiki but I don’t seem to get it .
