Confused on Bitrate and Sample Rate

I am confused on the Bitrate and Sample rate displayed in MC.  I am reading everywhere that DSD128 has a sample rate of 5644 kHz.  But as shown on the attachment my MC shows files with a sample rate of 5644 as DSD64, not DSD128. DSD 128 files show a sample rate of twice that of 11289.

That's the stream bitrate. Number of channels factors in.

Thank you!  That certainly explains what I’m seeing. It seems my Mac Mini 2014 i7 does not have the horsepower to process DSD512 files. It can handle DSD256.
