Command Line Launcher?

(1/2) > >>

Sheoke:
Sorry for the dumb question..

I have been using JR for years but for the life of me I have never been able to find the command line launcher. I have searched the forums, FAQs, etc. but every result I have found seems to assume you know this already.

I have read that it is just MC<version>.exe in the program folder but all that happens when I click it is JRiver starts to re-install itself!

Some help much appreciated.

Sheoke:
I meant to add that I tried C:\Windows\System32\MC<version>.exe and all it did was open JR.

JimH:
You need to be at the command line prompt in Windows first.  Use Google if you need help with that.

Then use mc27.exe or whatever version you have installed.

Then one of the commands here:
https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/The_Command_Line

That's on the DevZone, linked from "Developer" at the bottom of each page of the web site.

Aha! I never knew that. Does cmd.exe have to run in Admin mode?

Many thanks JimH

I see I don't. Thanks again.
