(1/1)

Hi,
I am new in JRiver. I want to install JRiver on my linux box. After installation, while audio files are imported into the library, but the video files (vob) are not. I tried a couple of things, but none of them works. Anyone can help? Thanks in advance.

Jim

P.S. I got frustrated so I tested the same procedures on Windows, import works without any issue.

bob:
Linux MC can't currently handle DVD or BD Images, you'll need to convert them to mkv.

Bob, Thank you very much for the answer. I struggled a little bit for the issue. I have a few hundreds music DVD, convert them to mkv may take a lot time. Can Linux MC 28 handle DVD/BD? What is the plan for future development?

If I do take the convert approach, which is the best and easy way to make mkv conversion.

Thanks.

Media Center on Windows uses the system components to mount and open DVD/BD images so it works there. Which at the moment it can't do on Mac and Linux, including MC28.
