Hi

strange question, but I am trying to calibrate Dirac VST for Cinema and it gets confused

Its Left stays Left (that's OK), Right is Right, and Center is still Center
BUT
Left Surround is suddenly Front Left + Front Right together
and Right Surround is mapped to Left Surround

I have 5.0 system - no sub
I assume Dirac will do the bass management (?)

I eventually setup everything as 5.1 - in Windows Sound Devices checked all boxes (previously subwoofer was not checked), and also defined output format in JRiver as 5.1

Now, the question is how do I tell Dirac to to distribute .1 channel over front Left and Right ?

This looks to be the general idea. 

AFAIK bass management module is not available for standalone Dirac.  It will correct bass for each speaker but Dirac is not going to manage (distribute / adjust crossovers)

So as the post explains, you have to manually move / adjust bass to speakers as you see fit and possibly correct for clipping (also discussed in post). 

Dirac should do the rest.
