MC 28.0.35 not updating

Hello: I am on amd64 , ubuntu 21.04.
After installing 28.0.35, update failed.
it still thinks I have 28.0.29.
I tried the upgrade 2 times,  with no success.

This is probably related to the issues 28.0.34 had and Bob reverting the version on the repository. You'll probably have to manually install the .deb file.

It's working fine for me, updates the x64 version to 28.0.35.
Can you give more details?
If there is an error in the update process can you paste it into a message here??

Then, no error reported after updating.
I saw 28.0.29 on the screen, then ' about ' screen  still reads 28.0.29.

After reinstalling a third time, and a few OS.update, it finally reads 28.0.35.
it looks like this mess did affect the glx 1.3 error that affected the use of my galaxy theme on theater view, nothing was stable affecting  the 28.0.xx initial release up to now .
