Volume Leveling...?
« on: April 03, 2003, 07:11:49 am »

While waiting for the ability to successfully burn an audio CD to return to MC9, I've been using WMP9.  I've been using the WMA lossless format and the volume leveling feature.  It works well, and lets you normalize as you burn -- using normalization doesn't change the ripped file, just the output.  Also, it seems to adjust the overall volume for a burned CD, not just 'per song'.  Will similar features be included with future versions of MC9?

Media Center already has a superior solution: Replay Gain.

Play around with it.
