How do I find out the "correct version" to download to recover my registration?

I'd like to upgrade to version 28. I'm using 21 and recently downloaded 22 in hopes of aligning my license with the "correct version" apparently required for the latest version.
I purchased a more recent version years ago, but never downloaded it and don't remember which it is.While  I have my old master license number, it can't be usee it to upgrade unless the "correct version" of JRiver associated with it.
How would I discover which version that is?
A bit of a simpleton, I know....but there it is....
