can't open media 28

hi. computer moron here. I purchased jriver way back when I got my crowdfund pono player. I lost everything when the pono site died so just now purchased media 28 but when I try to open it i get: There is no application set to open the document “Media Center28 Mac-532664.mjr”
I know you are all thinking "do I really want to open this can of worms? or will I ever get rid of this guy?"
Theres only 1 wAY TO FIND OUT.
I would really like to get some new music on the pono and manage the playlists on there.

The mjr file is the Install Key.  It probably means that you need to install MC28.  Details are here:

There's a Pono board here.  It might have something useful.  But try downloading and installing MC28.
