Japanese characters trouble

(1/2) > >>

arin:
It seems that MC 28.0.45 has some problems with Japanese characters…
Now every song with some Japanese characters is not recognized from previous library scanning.
Am I missing something or do I have to rescan them all?  ?

max_o:
The same problem in my system.

- When I try to play files which contain certain Japanese characters (especially kanji), MC returns error message "this file could not be located."
- On JRemote, those files are displayed with parts of their information garbled (such as the artist name).

As a thinkable workaround, I imported an MC 27 library into MC 28 because this problem is not occurring with MC 27. But, this did not work.

I hope this will be fixed ASAP.

mitsutoshi:
Same here.
Just went back to 28.0.42 and everything works just fine.
Maybe some problems happened between .42 and .45?

Hendrik:
We applied some fixes for the next build and hopefully it'll be back to normal, sorry about that!

bob:
Should be fixed in this build:

Please give it a try and let us know. Thanks.
