Am I right in guessing that Save Tags to Files will always “touch” the respective file, even if the tags in the library and in the file are already identical?

Reason why I ask, is that my PC is running an auto backup service that periodically backs up all files that have “changed”; and if possible I want to avoid filling the disk with repeated backups of files that have in essence not actually changed at all.
