Browsing buttons inactive in new MC28 version?
« on: July 31, 2021, 01:06:08 am »

Now that I have sorted out a few technical dramas. Getting to  few bugs that I noticed, that I am wondering if it is just my setup or others have the same issue.

When upgrading to version MC28, I notice browsing and getting around the web pages (inside Webview2) does not activate the back (Backspace, Alt+Left) and forward (Alt+Right) tiny buttons on top left of the browsing area. They remain greyed out on top of the window. I have to use the bread crumb trail on the forum to naviagate. Is it just me or is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

So it's just me then? But why?

I get exactly the same thing in 28.0.44 using Microsoft Edge. From the Welcome to JRiver Media Center Start page click any link and the Forward and Back buttons at the top are completely inoperative, the only button that works is Refresh

Re: Bug Browsing buttons inactive in Edge Webview MC28 version?
« Reply #4 on: August 04, 2021, 06:42:46 am »

So I was using Edge Webvierw as the browser with this behaviour, also when typing in this forum messsage every space bar starting playing/pause media instead of entering into the forum window...

Now I switched the browser option over to IE in Options, Tree & View and the buttons are working, and no more play/pause of media typing this message...

Respectfully: a bug of some sort with Webview edge implementation? Please take a look.
