Hey! What's been your favorite Album so far in 2021?

Mine, by a good margin is An Overview On Phenomenal Nature by Cassandra Jenkins.  She is new to me, but had at least two previous releases.  This new one I'd put in the Adult Contemporary, singer-songwriter category and is rather brief at around 32 minutes. Hard Drive is the absolute stand out track.  There is a back story of some kind with the tragic guy who recently recorded under the Purple Mountain moniker.  I highly recommend this release.  A few tracks from album are on the Is this Anything? playlist.

Big honorable mention to Japanese Breakfast, and Michelle Zauner (who performs as JB) for her wonderful book and album.  Least we forget Yola and Torres for terrific new releases.

Hoping for help on all those releases I've missed.

Hello, My favorite Albums of 2021 are actually two: Iron Maiden Senjutsu & Metallica Black Album Deluxe Box Set, the last is recordings+live material that fills 11 CDs, Outstanding both of them IMHO ;)

Mans:
Sunset in the Blue by Melody Gardot, a real piece of art !
As also Royal Tea by Bonamassa.
Actually both albums have been released late 2020.

When someone would be mentioning music concerts: Roger Water's Us+Them by far !
Best recorded live concert ever, asking me :-)

I do like Melody Gardot, and will listen to this.

I will also see US + Them as it's on I think Amazon Prime.  I will que it up!  Can't beat the Lucius babes who I see are in the cast.  Besides being extremly likable people, their first album, Wildewoman, is one of those special débuts that I will listen to perhaps until I'm not able to listen to anything anymore.  Highly recommended.

Look forward to watching Roger's big show.
