Audio Mode under DLNA
« on: September 18, 2021, 10:07:53 am »

I use MC to stream to a PS Audio bridge using DLNA. It works good and sounds great. In my DLNA Server configuration in Media Network I have the Audio mode set to "Specified output format" as recommended. When I mouse over the Audio path icon when playing a FLAC file the pop-up window says input and output  is 44.1Khz 16bit etc. But when I play a DSF file it says the same thing! That seems odd since the bridge renderer says it's input DOP at DSD64. Does anyone have any idea why the pop up window doesn't say it's DSD input and output when a DSF file is played?
