Please note that there is a new thread on a similar topic here:  https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,135516.msg938814.html#msg938814

-----------------------

The JRVR renderer can deliver high performance with minimal power consumption.  It will be featured in the new JRiver IdVR, based on the Intel NUC 11TNHi3.  This NUC uses an 11th generation i3.

It is capable of playing any audio, and any video up to and including at least 4K.

Expect release before year end at a price around $700, including the JRiver Media Center license.

How can I get more information on this upcoming new product ?
How will I load my music onto it ?  (collection is currently in I-tunes, most or which originated in my personal CD collection)
How is it controlled ?    Is there an included 'display' so I know what is playing, etc.  ?
Is it powered via a 120 V  power cord ?     or battery ?
What is the capacity  ?   (Giga bytes ?)
Thank you
-Tony

JimH:
We'll announce details in a month or so.

If you're only interested in music, any of the JRiver Id's would work.

https://jriver.com/Id/

Or you could run JRiver Media Center on any PC or Mac.

ppataki:
Will it support HDR10+ and/or Dolby Vision passthrough?

Thank you
