Waveform Color Options - V28

I saw a post in the MC26 forum about this but it didn't seem to help so I'm creating a new post here since I'm using MC28.

I use the "black on black" skin. No matter what hex values I enter for WaveformBarA and WaveformBarB, it stays monochromatic. Is there some color-override happening somewhere for this skin? Would love any help. Thanks.

I think you probably have skin effects set to grayscale, which overrides all hex-code colors (it translates all colors to a corresponding grayscale, with some colors being lighter/darker gray than others).

Go to View/Skin/Skin Effects, and in the resulting dialog, change Effects to None.
