Author Topic: Support: Playing slowly doesn't work when .MP4 file reached in playlist  (Read 386 times)

The problem:

Windows 10, MC28.

I have a playlist with .mp3 and .mp4 files.  If I slow down play (using DSP studio) while playing a .mp3 file, it works fine while playing that file, and this slow-down remains active, as it should, in the next .mp3 files that MC encounters in the playlist.

However, if a .mp4 file is encountered in the playlist, it erroneously reverts to playing at normal speed.  This is true even if the DSP studio "window" remains "open" during this process.   While the .MP4 file is being played however, any "touching" of the DSP studio settings in its window does, like kicking a television,  "wake up" the MC to play the DSP studio settings as it should.

This problem is also encountered in version 27.

I have only verified this for "playing slowly" but suspect that the problem applies for all DSP studio settings.

**If** you have difficulty confirming this problem, I could *prepare* and send you a video of it.
