If first using 'Stop After Current File' or 'Stop After Playing Track' (not tested with other Stop - functions) and then, after the track has stopped, using 'Clear Played from Playing Now', the first next unplayed track in the list will also be removed.

Not sure if it has something to do with that MC automatically selects/puts focus on the next track in the list, right before stopping the previous track (with the Stop-functions)...

Stopping after the current file advances the play marker.  Stopping manually does not.

It's a gray area.

Problem is with 'Clear Played from Playing Now' if being used after playback has been stopped with 'Stop After Current File'. It will then not only clear all played tracks but also the first unplayed track in the list.

Edit: The 'Clear Played from Playing Now' function can be found in the right-click menu if selecting a track in the playing now list.
