"your library - no cover art" but album has cover art

Yes, thank you Brian. This is extremely useful and I would not have been able to make this View even if I had thought of it. I have already updated the files that didn't have embedded cover art (even though I thought they did).
Thank you so much again
Hans

HaWi:
I noticed that when I change the cover art of an entire album that the image width/height only changes for the the first track and the remaining tracks have no entry. However, when I play a track then the image width/height changes to the correct value. That's not a big issue but I have a lot of albums to change and they still show up as <480x480 since track 2 to end still show no entry in those fields. So that makes me scroll through everything again.
Is there a way to have all the tracks change when their album art has been updated?
Many thanks
Hans
EDIT - One more thing, how does one change the "Approved" field? I don't seem to be able to change anything there
EDIT2 - Figured out the first part. Thumbnails have to be rebuilt to change the image width/height field

On my system, I see something similar when I change art:  After I save it, it doesn't appear changed in the view.  However, if you press the refresh button that looks like a circle with an arrow on it, the view refreshes, and the changes appear in the view.

Regarding the "image approved" field:  I put that in the view because I wanted to be able to say "hey I know this cover art is too small, but I want to hide it even when showing art that is less than 480x480 because I can't find anything bigger."

To use it, you need a field in the MC database called "Image Approved".  To create it, do something like this:

Tools > Options > Library & Folders > Manage Library fields > Add new field
Give it the right name (Image Approved).  Then go find that field and change these properties:
Data: User Data:
    Data Type:  Integer
    Edit Type:  Check

That should do it.

Good luck!

Brian.

Thank you Brian,
I suspected that when I didn't find the Field in the database. Thanks for letting us know.

This technique of making a new Library field to store a flag type value (on or off) is something I do somewhat frequently.

For example, I have a fairly sophisticated Duplicate Finder view.  In this view I have a "not duplicate" column that I can use to mark songs that are not really duplicates.  That way I can hide all of those if I want to, so I don't keep seeing the same false positives in my searches for duplicates.

It's a very useful technique.  Check box fields make it really convenient to use also.

Brian.
