Was that previously on for you or off?

Neither setting should require MC to be restarted to play again so if that's the case I'd like to track it down.
If it won't play after a sleep, a log of trying to attempt to play after a sleep would be useful.

I sent logs both before and after the update.  Did you get them?  I just turned on the stop after long pause option but it wasn't on when those issues happened.  Well I had just turned it on for the v94 instance a second before trying to hit play on a paused song which then wouldn't play so not sure if just turning it on immediately had an effect on this bug or not, doubtful though.  I think it wouldn't have played the song even if i didn't enable that option right before it.

It was OFF previously and I just checked on the MacBook (on .94) and the issue seems to be gone. No partial freeze and I could start playing and navigating through tracks etc.
