I use JRemote on my iphone 12 mini to stream my local library to Sonos. It works great. It’s actually the main reason I invested in JRiver because the Sonos app is so limiting. JRemote and JRiver has changed my music life!!!!
But, I found an odd issue. If I am happily streaming to Sonos with JRemote, and I switch to the Sonos app on my phone to stream Apple Music or something else, and then go back to JRemote to stream my local library again, it crashes. Over and over. A reinstall doesn’t work, restart the phone doesn’t work… I was dead in the water.
But luckily I figured out a fix. If I use my laptop or the JRiver server to stream to Sonos, it works and all of a sudden it starts working on my iphone again.
I hope I explained that well enough…Thought you should know about this in case it’s happening to others. And you can squash that annoying bug!
