DSD 64 plays fine, DSD 128 plays 1/2 speed.
« on: January 18, 2022, 03:08:09 pm »

I have MC 28.0.100 and I have 3 renderers. 1) microRendu 2) Sonore Rendu 3) Sonore Signature Rendu. On the mR 64 plays fine , 128 plays fine. On the SR 64 plays at 64 , 128 plays @ 64 (half speed) on the SSR 64 once again plays @ 64 and 128 plays @ 64. Any idea What can cause this behavior? I have verified the SSR def does play DSD128. Not entirely sure of the SR - it might it might not. I'd really like to get the SSR rendering DSD 128 correctly. Files are on a NAS which is mounted locally to the MC 28 linux machine.

Hover over the audio path gear.
What does it say for each of the renderers @ 128 ?
And what are the file containers? dsf, dff, dsd in wavepack?

all of my files are .dsf. But I'm glad to say this problem was solved for me by Jesus over on the Sonore Support Forum. The solution was to turn everything off. JRiver Generic DLNA/Audio/Mode select Original. Do not select bitstream. This resulted in DSD 64, 128, and 256 all working perfectly for both the Sonore Rendu and the Signature Rendu.
