argg it went on the worng email, i got it on night, can i move it to the email where i have my other licens?

I'm hoping someone can help me with registering MC29 using a MC28 Registration Code (RC).   I purchased MC28 on 11/29/21,  but I only installed MC28 for the first time today and it registered properly.  However after downloading and running MC29, it won't accept the MC28 RC calling in invalid and I've accidentally burned 3 restores in the process.  Given when I purchased MC28, the registration code should work for MC29 correct?  If yes, what am I doing wrong?

You can't use MC29 with an MC28 license. Sorry.
