Matt or JimH - I did a restore from my MC28 backup as you recommended, but my duplicate library entry issue I mentioned in my previous posts still persists. How do I completely delete my MC29 library and build a new one from the hard drive that holds all my music? I would assume that would fix the issue and I don't mind taking the time to do it.  Thanks! Philip

Edit: Here is a pic so you can see what I mean concerning the issue I'm trying to fix...

What I don't understand why the duplicates are showing file location as D: Drive? I don't even have a D: Drive in my computer. All my music is on my F: Drive. I did have a D: Drive at one time, but that was over a year ago.

If the D: files play, then maybe you have some mapping for D: that makes it work.

I do not know you got to this point but you could do a search on D: and then delete all the entries it finds.  This should keep the F: files and any settings you have in the library.

Alternatively, you could right click on Playing from Main Library, select Add New Library and create a new library, then do a manual import of your files. You could also do File - Library - Clear and then do a manual import.  You will have to add any settings you have customized.

Hi All,
Im new to the forum but not new to MC. I recently upgraded from 28 to 29. the install went fine no problems but 29 took full control of my audio. It will play nothing but MC29. Ive tried wasapi and asio. Tried toggling exclusive mode nothing works so far. I finally figured out if I go into Tidal and toggle exclusive mode I can get Tidal to work. Which works for me since this machine only runs MC and Tidal. Very strange though nothing else works not even windows sounds when i tried to turn that back on. any ideas?
Thanks!
