Advice on new install...

I've been running MC26 but finished building a new machine... so I just purchased the master upgrade to MC28/29.

The old machine is still here.  Should I upgrade the old rig to MC28, backup, and restore that to the new build?  Or just install MC28 to the new machine and use an existing MC26 backup?

Or does it not matter?
