Invisible external drive
« on: November 09, 2023, 08:46:24 am »

Hello. Is there a reason why JRiver wouldn't see an externally connected USB drive, while my iMac and its iTunes player do?
The setup is as follows:
  • JRiver for Mac, v22
  • OS Venturi 13.6.1 (the issue appeared in version 10.14.6, and I upgraded later)
  • iMac 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 dual-core CPU
  • WD 2TB USB 3.0 hard drive. I've tried several formats: ExFAT, FAT32, NTFS (for Mac), and Mac OS Extended

I don't think it will help, but here is the crash report.

Maybe you could try MC31.  It's on the Download Page.  It's free to use for 30 days.

Maybe...
Is it normal that there is no arrow on the right here, and that I cannot open the Drives and Devices section?
