JRSS, ASIO, M-Audio 410 and XP.
« on: March 18, 2003, 12:34:38 pm »

Hi

I havent gotten any responses in other threads here or on AVS so I thought I'd start a new topic as a few others seem to have a similar dilema.

As you can see from the subject line I'm running the following:

WinXP Pro SP1
M-Audio 410
MC9.129

I have no problems getting ASIO 2 channel output but when I select the JRSS settings, it doesnt change and the settings are back to default the next time I access the DSP control.

Any ideas?

A few questions:

1) Does it matter how you invoke DSP Studio?

(from Zone Manager, from the Player menu, from the Options -> Playback page, etc.)

2) Does how you close DSP Studio make any difference?

3) Are you using multiple zones?  If so, does it work for any zone?

4) Do EQ or Effects changes stick around?

Thanks for helping.

My anwers for 1 through 4 are:  I dont know, I'll try.

I installed WinXP non sp1 on another partition last night just for testing stuff and I have the same problems.

Thanks for your insight Matt, I'll fidget with it tonight.
