Media Center 29 - "Information for this cd was not found..." [Solved]
(1/1)
johnivyj:
I upgraded to Media Center 29 this afternoon. I was ripping some cds but I had to put in all tag info myself. I didn't have to do this with MC 28.
Finding any help on this has been more than frustrating. I'm not the best Googler but... The only advise I could find was to make sure the box for Enable auto-rip was checked. It is.
I read about two databases: one we send data to, YADB, and the online database FreeDB used to check for cd information.
Maybe I'm using the wrong one? I can't find where to look to see what database I'm using.

I want to thank you for pointing to my problem. I didn't have issues with MC 28 and that's what threw me for a loop.
I use MalwareBytes Privacy for my VPN. Using your advice, I could set an exception for the JRiver MC 29 application.
Bingo!!!

Thanks for reporting the solution.
