29.0.2 (1/27/2022)
2. NEW: Skins can specify Frame\Edit\Colors\Faded to specify the fade color of things like the instructions on a search box (it defaults to blending the text and background).
Plus i notice in 29 release there is a dealy when i open the app to load my library the 28 version doesnt have that.

This is usually caused by an antivirus/antimalware app (usually Windows Defender) actively scanning and uploading a sample of the app. If you're using Windows Defender, try adding Media Center 29 to Defender's exclusions list. In my experience it typically happens when there's a recent new major Media Center release.

i dont use antivirus at all! the defender its fully disabled so its not from it....
Awesome Donkey:
Windows Defender actually can't be fully disabled (even when using registry hacks or group policy changes), it's fully integrated into the operating system. In fact running with Defender partially disabled is a bad idea in general, unless you're using a third-party antivirus app as a replacement, there's really no reason to disable it.
