I downloaded the latest update for Monterey 12.3 today, and I was running MC 28.  I got the following error.  I was hoping if I upgraded to 29 it would fix it, but it hasn't.  I have tried the uninstall and reinstall methods I see in these threads.  My data is stored on an external hard drive.  All settings include read and write.

It reads:

Playback Problem
Something went wrong with playback.
Details:
The file could not be opened for read access (error 0).
Check permissions, ownership, and the the file is not in use by another program.

Also, when I opened up 29 and restored my library from my most recent backup in 28, my album art seems to have went away?  I believe this will correct itself once the files can be accessed.

Look in your System Preferences->Security and Privacy->Privacy.
Check for folder access.
Give MC29 the same permissions as MC28.

Looks like I had to give it Full Disk Access.  I think I'm good!
