Any way to support the TCMP tag?
« on: April 06, 2022, 08:36:52 pm »

I'm using Navidrome https://www.navidrome.org/ with bonob https://github.com/simojenki/bonob and Sonos to stream music to my house.  Navidrome indexes things nicely, but in order to handle various artists albums it requires the TCMP id3 tag for mp3 files and the COMPILATION tag for flac.  https://www.navidrome.org/docs/faq/#i-have-an-album-with-tracks-by-different-artists-why-is-it-broken-up-into-lots-of-separate-albums-each-with-their-own-artist

I'm trying to figure out if MC can handle tagging these particular tags, but they do not appear to exist in the default tags, and I've not yet had success adding them as a custom tag.  Does anyone else know how this can be done?

Try the wiki for help on custom tags.  Case must match.
