Since the last update the following has occurred a couple of times and requires a restart or I just discovered another way to get the library rendering back without a restart:
Help>System Info (no content displayed) then Help>About brings the content back into view. Guessing the Help>About being a popup is refreshing the display in background. Last image is the evidence I actually have Albums in my library.

There are no filters applied in any view. The problem is random so far as I can notice.
