I would like to automate my setup to automatically detect when HDR content is being played back. For HDR content, I can put my display in full brightness mode and madVR does its thing. However, for SDR content and the Windows UI, I want to drive the display in low brightness mode.

I've been looking into the automation capabilities of JRiver, but I've not been able to find how I can determine the HDR setting. Has anyone else done something like this?
