JRSS doesn't sound any different

I can't really hear a difference with or without JRSS and curious if having a full bandwidth(which is what I feel I am hearing from the surrounds) from the front side surrounds is normal for a surround sound or upmixed sound?

I am curious if there is any delay we should add or any other type of technique that could make it sound like a reflection or reverberation rather than a full bandwidth speaker? Unless JRSS is doing its job perfectly but I just can't tell.
