Sorry if this is too much but I am new to JRiver coming from a Zidoo. I picked up a JVC RS420 Projector and I did use AutoCal to calibrate it. I find that the HDR is very dark and when I post in the forums about it I am told over and over to use a video processor just as JRiver and MadVR. I am an IT guy by trade so the PC side of things will come easy.
I ordered a new MiniPC with a Ryzen 7 chip with Ryzen Graphics with 3 4k60hrz HDMI outs on it. I only plan on using this as a HTPC for my theater room only.
What I am lookig for is a guide for setup to get the best HDR tone mappering for my 4k ISO/MKV movie content.
Any recommendations or advice on setup would be greatly appreciated.
Also I use a Harmony Hub remote setup and any advice on setting that up to control the HTPC that would be great as well.
